Pervasive資料庫的前身為Btrieve。Pervasive.SQL能讓企業同時擁有傳統資庫(如
Xbase，Cobol….)與關聯式資料庫，同時讓企業用戶在很短的時間內將傳統資料庫轉

舊名Btrieve的Pervasive.SQL，是使用Netware用戶最熟悉不過的資料庫軟體，
因為在Netware舊有版本中，Btrieve是免費贈送的，當時沒有一家非常專精的廠商
可以提供這方面的服務，以致於許多Btrieve的用戶無法獲得第一手的資訊及服務。但

出最新版本-Pervasive.SQL2000i，Pervasive.SQL2000i是目前唯一支援Transactional
及Relational的資料庫，並可讓您傳統的應用軟體輕鬆昇級到SQL資料庫，同時還可支
援Netware及NT平臺，讓用戶不用在更換網路作業系統時就必需面臨更換資料庫軟
體的難題，並同時提供Windows95/3.1/DOS及OS/2的開發工具，Pervasive.SQL2000i是
